Your First Visit

Before Your Appointment

To ensure the best results and minimise side effects, we recommend:

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to settle
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior
  • Avoid blood-thinning medications (if medically safe to do so)

Come with clean skin (no makeup if possible)

These small steps help reduce bruising and improve your overall results

On The Day

  • A full consultation will always be carried out before treatment
  • You will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your concerns
  • We will explain your treatment plan clearly before proceeding

You will never feel rushed or unsure

Aftercare

First 24–48 Hours

To minimise irritation, swelling, and bruising:

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area
  • No makeup for at least 24 hours (unless advised otherwise)
  • Avoid alcohol and smoking
  • Avoid intense exercise or anything that increases heat in the body
  • Stay well hydrated

This allows your skin to begin healing properly

Heat & Environment

For the first 48 hours, avoid:

  • Saunas & steam rooms
  • Hot showers directly on the treated area
  • Sun exposure & sunbeds

Heat can increase swelling, irritation, and reduce treatment effectiveness

Skin Care

  • Use gentle, non-active skincare for the first few days
  • Avoid retinol, acids, or exfoliants for 3–5 days
  • Keep the skin clean and well moisturised

Your skin is in a healing phase — treat it gently

Swelling, Redness & Bruising

These are normal and temporary.

You may experience:

  • Mild swelling
  • Redness
  • Tenderness
  • Occasional bruising

This is part of the natural healing process and will settle within a few days

Results Timeline

Depending on your treatment:

  • Some results are visible immediately
  • Others develop over days to weeks as collagen production increases

POLICIES 

Booking, Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure all appointments and training bookings.

This deposit confirms your commitment and reserves dedicated clinical time.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances

Deposits may be transferred with 48 hours’ notice only

Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in loss of deposit

Full payment is due on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.

Pink Aura Aesthetics reserves the right to amend pricing at any time.

Late Arrival Policy

Clients are expected to arrive on time.

  • Arrivals up to 10 minutes late may result in reduced treatment time
  • Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes late may result in cancellation

In such cases, the deposit will be retained.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required
  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of deposit
  • Repeated missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings

Consultation, Consent & Suitability

All treatments require:

  • Completion of a medical consultation form
  • Full disclosure of medical history
  • Signed informed consent

Pink Aura Aesthetics reserves the right to:

  • Decline treatment where clinically inappropriate
  • Modify treatment plans based on professional judgment

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in increased risk, for which the clinic cannot be held liable.

Medical Disclaimer & Results

Risks & Complications

Potential side effects may include (but are not limited to):

  • Swelling, bruising, redness
  • Tenderness or discomfort
  • Infection (rare)
  • Allergic reaction (rare)

Serious complications, although rare, may occur.

Clients are responsible for seeking immediate advice if concerns arise.

Aftercare & Client Responsibility

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided.

Clients agree to:

  • Follow all aftercare advice
  • Avoid contraindicated activities
  • Attend follow-up appointments if required

Failure to adhere to aftercare may impact results and increase risk.

Pink Aura Aesthetics is not responsible for outcomes where aftercare has not been followed.

Contraindications

Treatment may be refused if:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active infections or skin conditions
  • Medical contraindications
  • Unsafe expectations

Client safety will always take priority over proceeding with treatment.

Photography & Data Consent

Clinical photographs may be taken for:

  • Medical records
  • Treatment monitoring

With consent, images may be used for educational or marketing purposes.

All data is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.

Training Academy – Additional Terms

  • Course deposits and payments are non-refundable
  • Course places are non-transferable unless agreed
  • Attendance is mandatory for certification
  • Certification is subject to successful completion

Students are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance before practicing.
